Reflexology Lymph Drainage comes to Hands 4 Wellbeing.
This award winning reflexology technique focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc(Hons), whilst working in Cancer Care. The results appear to support the theory of reflexology.
More information on this new technique can be found at www.reflexologylymphdrainage.co.uk.
Lymphatic Drainage massage (MLD) is used to treat conditions other than Lymphoedema and RLD (Reflex Lymph Drainage) may be used similarly. MLD may be useful with the following conditions:
- Migraines / Headaches / Sinus Problems
- ME / Chronic Fatigue
- Muscular Tension / Aches and Pains
- Premenstrual Syndrome
Results are visible after your first treatment but research has shown a minimum of 3/4 sessions are suggested so that results last longer and that treatments are then recommended on a regular basis that suits your body.
This technique it amazing. We can offer appointments at our regular clinic at Blurton Hub in Blurton, West End Village in Stoke or private appointment. Booking appointments is essential, please call us to arrange or if you require any further information.
We are please to announce we have recently won an excellence award from our professional body The Federation of Holistic Therapists.
We have provided a large amount of talks, presentations and attended many events over the last 12 months – all of which we have strived to highlight the importance The FHT. Particularly how it champions the work we do but how it also provides trust and credibility to our profession so that therapists and more importantly our clients can feel safe and know they are being looked after professionally and by appropriately qualified therapists.
If you would like us to visit your support group, charity or place of work to understand more about the work we do and how we could help please get in touch.

We visited Lea Road Community Church last month in Wolverhampton and facilitated a workshop with their Roma community.
We showed them self help techniques they can use on themselves but also on each other which can promote relaxation, support stress and anxiety but also reaches out and lets them able to work and communicate with each other in a caring way.
We had a great time and we think the pictures that were captured show it too. We had great feedback and as a result are going back to them in October.
If you would like us to do a similar workshop in your community or organisation please contact us for details.
